Welcome to House Dark Solace. The quick and easy of what we are here at House Dark Solace is simply
this: A vampyre and otherkin haven located out of Arkansas. We are open to all vamps no matter the location, but
we are based in Arkansas due to the fact that I, Tobias, started here and this is where we'll eventually hold meetings.
We have an active online pressence in the community and are currently working on getting our offline haven set up for meetings
and gatherings, etc.
Our online forums are open to everyone so long as you have respect and follow the rules set up by
the staff. We offer information from many different aspects, including but not limited to vampyrism, otherkin, magicks,
and many more. If you wish to learn, teach, or simply browse our site, please follow the link provided on our forums
page. Our first rule is that everyone registering on the site must post an introduction on the Introduction board.
Just simply post a few things about yourself and let us get to know you, and you can do the same with us if you so wish.
Our offline haven will be open to all who are official members of the House. And those vamps
and otherkin in the state are allowed to attend, so long as they are members of the forums and are decently known by some
of our staff. This is for security reason only, we don't want to put our members in any danger.
As for out-of-state members who wish to attend meetings, you are more than welcome to attend so long
as you can provide your own way and lodgings while in attendance. Rules and ettiquette for meetings and gatherings will
be e-mailed to all those who wish to attend any set meeting.
As for anything else you wish to know, all you have to do is ask. You can either e-mail our
staff at the e-mail provided, or message one of us on the forums. We're just a few keystrokes away.
Just remember, this House is an unofficial institution put in place to provide a haven, a safe place
for those of us who feel like they simply "don't belong" with the other inhabitants of this world, and to give them a stress
free place to go and chat with other like-minded individuals.
So, if this sounds like a place you'd like to get involved with then you know how to join us.
If you feel you wish to join the House as an official member, then please follow the procedures on the Membership Application
page of this site. If you don't feel this is the place for you, then please message one of our staff members and we
may be able to direct you to a site or group that may better cater to your individual needs. If you have a strong disbelief
in anything paranormal, metaphysical, or just simply "weird," then this is more than likely not a place for you. But,
with that said, all are welcome here, so long as you respect the rules.
